Description

Pay little attention to the trades. I am more focused on who I want to move out (DeSmith, Riikola, and Pettersson). Rumor is that James Neal will get bought out this summer. Pens should bring him back to make Malkin happy.

I guess DeSmith as NSH's backup could be a possibility, if Rinne doesn't come back for another season and Ingram isn't ready. Personally, I'd rather just sign a UFA for a year than give up a pick for a backup though.

Please tell me why Pens fans keep sending Riikola to the Preds, every time they trade him on here. It seems like it's always to NSH, and it just makes no sense for them. Was there a rumour NSH was interested in him at some point? It's a funny little quirk on these boards, and I've never understood how it came to be.
