Don't think Columbus will get much better offers than that. Jones has most of the power because no team will trade for him unless he's willing to extend with them.

That's just silly to say, lots of teams will trade for him if they're in a win now mode, regardless of if he agrees to extend upfront. And if jones has "all the power" why would he choose the Canucks over all the other teams in the league...
