Description

Idk what Columbus is doing this off-season. They could try to be competitive or they could blow it up. I went with blowing it up. They shed some contracts and the possibility of loosing Seth Jones for nothing. I know Risto is on a 1 year deal too but with all the draft capital and young players that could play either in 2021 or 2022 that have upside, I think it can work. This trade to me happens before they try to convince Sam to stay by showing that they are going to make winning an actual priority. This trade brings the Sabres much need scoring and an upgrade at RD who they can try to convince to a long term deal. Even if Jones left in Free Agency, they would still have the 3 wingers they acquired to continue their push to a potential cup run. If my trade is garbage, then let me know how you would adjust it. Also side note this trade does scream video game trade but 🤷‍♂️

Definitely key for Buffalo to start winning asap

I think this a good attempt at doing so but Ullmark is just good and UPL hasn't been good in pro hockey so far so a good NHL backup is needed for this
