Caps pass. They aren't moving Sammy unless the package is huge. He's a young, cheap goalie that has top 5 goalie upside. They'll do Vanecek for a 2nd though.

Before he came over to the NHL he was considered the best goalie not in the NHL (had the best 19yo KHL season in their history). Once he got used to NA ice he had like a .936sv% in the AHL. Then was doing great in the NHL until he got hurt, then got Covid twice. Dude is going to be a baller top 5 goalie.

Wild aren't trading greenway especially for 2nd round pick. Fans of other teams need to stop thinking greenway is the player with will lose

The way Kerfoot played in the playoffs, and the number of quality Dmen available to Seattle, will get them to pick Kerfoot. At worst we'd have to add like a 4th to get them to do it

Fair. And I'd prob do something close to that. But I had just heard that there had been a rift between the Caps and Kuzy+Samsonov so I thought he might be up for grabs. While I don't think he'll be a top 5 goalie I get it.
