Unless bertuzzi signs long term I don’t think any of this is going to make the jackets trade werenski. Even with the extension it’s a hard sell. We’d need a high end guy coming back.

Ya he's an RFA so this assumes Bert signs long term. I agree it's not perfect. Would you consider it more if Zadina was subbed for Bert? Zadina is more "high-end" but I would actually assume CBJ would prefer Bert.

Yes it would be a lot better to swap the players as he is younger and has a higher ceiling.

So id love werenski and I think hed make a huge difference for the wings. That being said I like zadina less than bert and id be ok with swapping them. Yeah i know zadina has a higher ceiling but I like berts fit a bit better.

Zadina has entirely more potential and value than Bert. you like Bert over Zadina because Bert has had way better development. Give Zadina another year at least. Hes primed to break out playing with Vrana and Larkin for a full year, and a healthy core. This year with guys in and out of the line up, the bulk of the responsibility was on Zadina. Shouldn't be that way.

Oh I know, I like bert alot is all, more than most. Zadina is gonna be a good player, I like him alot and I hope he turns into the guy we all thought hed be.
