If we're trading pettersson it's to get rid of cap. So pens say hell no

And the pens, like every other team with the Flat Cap, are tight with their cap space. So what makes u think they retain 2M for 4 years?? Lol.

Again, it was something I was spitballing with one of my friends who's a Penguins fan LOL. Obviously I know this wouldn't go through irl, but I was interested to see what the team could look like and Capfriendly's the only website where I can do that. I hope you don't take any of my posting here seriously or anything lol, I was just having fun with it and my friend (who is a Pens fan) said he would do the trade. Either way, it was meant in good fun but I appreciate the comments anyways, but dw I'm under no illusion we'd ever be able to pull that trade off irl

Good trade for us, and the retention is no big deal we can free a lot of that up next year by not extending Letang, which getting dermott would allow us to do

Dermott is 23 (I believe) and can play both sides
Plus with Peterson gone POJ has his spot in the lineup
