It is titled a mock draft so I can understand that point of view. I was more so ranking who I thought was best in the draft class, to me Bergeron is clearly number 1.

Sheesh. Horton was pretty darn good before the back injury ended his career.

He was and I was a big fan of his, but because of injuries he only played 626 games in what may have been the deepest draft in NHL history.

When I think of a re-draft, I think of everything playing out the way it did, not that things would hypothetically play out differently if the player was selected by a different team. If you get into hypotheticals, anything could happen for any player.

I took a glance at it and i think he’s between 10-15 in terms of both goals and points. He had an impressive career.

Fair comment and always interesting to see others perspectives, there is definitely a good debate to be had as to whether you take a better player for significantly less games or a lesser player for significantly more games. For me that would be situational depending on the team and their individual situation, but again I avoid hypotheticals for a re-mock draft as it makes things significantly more complicated.

Overall if there are only a a few players who's draft positioning people debate, l'll be the optimist and take it as a pretty solid re-mock. One of the reasons I like mock drafts is there's almost never a consensus amongst everyone which can lead to interesting debates.

Took another look and I would actually move Horton up a bit, not into the 10-15 range but somewhere in the 20-24 range.
