just teams who are cup contenders or serious playoff contenders will not trading cost controlled young 3C options. They are not easy to find and for teams who finally get them to be established in that role, they are vital to their competitive window as they fill an import role

If Canucks want one they will have to target non playoff teams or older players who are cap dumps.

If they can’t agree on a Moore deal, a simpler deal to take Zboril saves them all. It’s not that difficult.
