Description

Vegas looking for cap space to a degree.

Tampa has to shed, Canes take advantage.

Eichel has surgery right before the season, conveniently, and then comes back to practice a month plus before the season but “not ready.” Then is ready, conveniently, for the start of the playoffs. Yay!

Knowing Eichel would have to be put on off-season LTIR to make all this work, some of the cap left can be applied to Hamilton to make that contract work.

Not sure if Seattle want to have 5m Skjei. But I like your thought process. 15m with three UFAs coming off the books in 22/23, room for a healthy 10m Eichel.

I like that you do all this while keeping Jarvis, but I can’t get behind trading necas. The team is certainly better in the short term
