Wouldn't do that if I was CGY. No chance on giving up Johnny for guys who have never played a game in the NHL and mid to late 1st and an old defenseman. No chance. Haha I'm sorry if you think that is a good trade because no way.

Ok first off, the "old" defenseman, methot, plays top pairing minutes and leads the sens in plus-minus. He is not a downgrade from brodie, at least for the next couple of years. Fits perfectly in CGY top 4.

Second off, you have to consider that acquiring him makes brodie expandable.. And gets you Duchene. Who ok i'll admit he is not quite the player gaudreau is.. but he is pretty close. And anyhow johnny hockey is struggling and doesnt have the compet level Duchy has.

I think CGY accepts these two very minor downgrades. In order to get White and Dzingel to shape up their future. White is a top prospect who dominated the world junior and has played with Tkachuk. Dzingel is an extremely fast player. I can see him lining up with Duchene besides Monahan for one of the fastest lines in hockey.

Additional details Colin White that mes it possible Again the sens have a team cap and I don't think Ottawa wants to give up a good player on a cheap contract for that money and term cgy made it because they apse him as a long term investment Ottawa won't

LOL bro who in the world do you think ryan dzingel is plus the F does calgary want with overrated methot you know f all about hockey
