I like the Detroit trade but no go on the Spezza one, gallagher is worth more

I think nyquist is probably worth a bit more but I might pull the trigger on that if it's the best offer they get

I don't understand the point of the Dallas trade. Plekanec is cheaper than Spezza, and you give Gallagher, Lindgren and a second? Is there something I don't know?

And Nyquist trade looks like you overpay again, but that might be because I think Nyquist is one of the most overrated players in all of hockey. Decent possession numbers, but his goals and points aren't worth a good defense prospect and a second. He's about a point per two games, which isn't much to write home about.

2nd-round picks and prospects aside, I guess the team got marginally better... if chemistry and tactics weren't a thing. This seems like a lateral move which pays too much. Good idea with Spezza, he could be useful.

Juulsen is a solid D prospect, But i don't see Detroit pulling this trade.
