Yeah, I like those moves. Philly taking on Holtby makes sense to an extent, but wow if that deal happens we're laughing. I'm being pedantic here, as I love that defense in terms of how fun it would be, but I think it lacks solidity since Graves, Hughes and Rathbone are all a bit smallish and offensively minded. Our zone would be a bit of an adventure, not that that wasn't already the case this year.

You guys don’t get it that dumping Eriksson cost a 1st alone, maybe not 9th OA but your not getting Reinhart with the 9th OA AND dumping Reinhart

It IS the 9OA PLUS two prospects and another pick, so Buffalo would take that and run. You are confusing a cap dump and accepting salary/cap hit back to make a trade work. That being said it's way too much to pay for what amounts to a second line player IMO. LE definitely has Buffalo on his no trade list and probably declines anyway. Abbotsford is much nicer than Buffalo.......

2 prospects who’ll never play a regular role in the NHL and a 5th lol that’s horrible for BUF. Reinhart is a 1st liner btw

Lind will play regularly, I'm sure of that. Reinhart is a first line player in Buffalo.....not cracking Vancouver's top 3 though. Good player but not exceptional in any area. The 9OA is probably a better player than Sam is right now in 2 years, so personally I would never include that pick. Next years.....maybe.

Reinhart is not a 1st line winger in VAN like Bo Horvat is a 3C in Pittsburgh. Reinhart is a 1st line winger, like Timo Meier William Nylander, they aren’t Elite but they are fist line caliber
