Yah it was a different idea. His buyout is long but pretty low. Probably tampa people can say what happened to him more than I could.

He's not playing in the middle because of TB's logjam @center he's just not good on the wing. Plays well when he's in the middle.

Yah but there is plenty of cheeper options out there. I’m not saying you are wrong, I just don’t like 5M as the 3c when he isn’t worth that much.

he averages 27 goals per 82gp which is around Nuge's numbers at 28

Nuge is way better than Johnson is. Nuge can actually play a full season, play with the top guys etc. It’s not even a close comparison in my opinion. I doubt we will be able to sign Nuge anyway.

I am not comparing them. Just a goal production similarity and I agree on signing him will be tough. I know he did buy a house a few doors down from my sister, he was going to build and now it looks like that has stopped for now or forever.
