We're not signing both Barrie and Hamilton, Hamilton wouldn't be on the 2nd pairing. We're not relying on a Bouchard/Broberg bottom pairing. The Avs may depart with one of Landeskog and Grubauer but not both.

Overall our defense gets worse, our offense gets marginally better and Seattle says no the that return in the expansion draft.

Your top 6 is fine but your bottom 6 is AHL level or NHL replacement level players. Seattle isn't taking all that. not a chance.
