Yeah, easy decline for Tampa. They wouldn't include Foote in negotiations for McD nor EK from all reports, and they need his cost controlled cap hit moving forward. If a deal is reached with Seattle for Johnson or McD, great. If not, the 8+1 stated earlier by Thunder is very likely Tampa's protection list. Tampa will gamble they take McD, but if not, so be it. Tampa will not trade Foote without a defensive upgrade coming back, so unless NJ is offering Severson for a bigger package that would include Foote, Tampa passes. Also, not 1 chance in a 1,000 that Foote is getting 1.7 on his next deal, as it will be much closer to 1 million than 2(at least in Tampa).
