They've got 3 defenseman signed for next season, Rielly is from BC so he would probs wanna go play there anyway

Buffalo without Eichel and Reinhart have 9 forwards that are better than Engvall.

VAN doesn't need a dman like Rielly. They need a more reliable defender. Also if Rielly wants to sign with VAN or the Canucks want to sign him why not just wait a year when he hits free agency without giving up any assets?

If you'd play Cody Eakin over Engvall you're crazy

Also its practically guaranteed that Eichel and Reinhart won't be on the team to start next szn so Engvall would definitely slide in opening night.

At LW. Olofsson, Skinner, Bjork, Asplund, and Girgensons are all better.

Buffalo is paying Jeff Skinner $9 000 000 for 14 points in 53 games. Engvall is being paid $1 250 000 for 12 points in 42 games and he is still developing while skinner is washed. Engvall can also kill penalties. Much rather have Engvall than Skinner...

Eakin yes but that's a low bar to set.
Thompson I don't know about that.
That type of player is a dime a dozen just go sign one for league minimum
