Sorry dude, this is terrible. A 4th string goalie and a guy with no value that can't get out of the minors or stay healthy? You're gonna need to step up the offer big time. But leave in the first rounder.

Yeahhh, i thought so as i posted this, i couldve added a connor brown and/or another prosect such as Lassi Thomson to the package, but daccord has shown some potential of being a good goalie, maybe he can be markstrom's backup

yeah, but Tkachuk isn't going anywhere without good players in return. even adding Brown and Thomson won't be enough. They can get a back up anywhere.....I hear Freddy Anderson is available....lol

Good point, but i think Freddy won't be a cheap option for backups for them. There are of course alot of other backup options in free agency this year, but Daccord can be a backup with potential of maybe becoming a 1B type of goalie in the future, and he's cheap as of right now, which I believe is what Calgary needs if it wants to retool their team this offseason. Brown is i believe a very valuable player can help the team in all situations, either on defence or offence. And Thomson is a prospect that can turn out into a solid top 4 defenseman, plus he also played with Valimaki in finland before the season started. I would say that trade is enough, maybe add another prospect, or maybe even Tierney with 50% retained.
