Seattle declines. Montreal declines, while they may not want Drouin, Schmidt term is too long. Johnson doesn't waive his NTC for Vancouver.

I don't think it makes sense to give up a first-round pick to unload one year of Eriksson contract and then keep $4.4m in cap space. Why not keep the pick and send him to the AHL?

Canes pass. They’ll protect Bean and take chances on Skjei. If they lose him that’s another $5M freed up.
