My biggest question mark is the NYR trade, I don't know if it's realistic. Would appreciate feedback on Georgy's value.

You only get UFA rights to Hamilton, the 8th year is gone since they didn't have his rights before the trade deadline, same thing happened to Kevin Hayes

Holloway Samorukov Should still be in the A
Burry turris.

That gives you enough to sign a vet 3LW

yes you are right but easy enough to do a sign and trade for the extra year.
trade a 3rd round pick to carolina and you get 8 years

You literally can't get him for 8 years anymore unless the canes sign him then trade him to you which im pretty sure can't happen

that is exactly what i just said.

and that is exactly what the canes are trying to do. That is the only reason they have given him permission to talk to other teams right now. so some one will want to sign him for 8 years and will pay carolina to do it and trade him

Primarily depends on if Seattle takes Benson or Jones, if they took Benson then Jones would slide into 3LD, if they take Benson I could see Holloway fighting for a spot in camp, if not bury Turris and sign someone like Goodrow.

With how Holland works things Holloway will be in the A to start the season and might get a late season call up after Christmas.
I would bet my house turris is burried.
goodrow is a better option

More than likely but there's only so many ways to work around things so I'm trying to get some different views in, though I think it's likely if Holland is looking for a cheap 3W option it'll be someone like Darren Helm.

That's an easy no for the Rangers. Georgiev for a late 1st & 2 cap dumps? Really?

"My biggest question mark is the NYR trade, I don't know if it's realistic. Would appreciate feedback on Georgy's value."

I've seen trades on here from people as NYR trading Georgiev for pennies and assuming that NYR are looking to get tougher they hold Kassian to some level of value.

What's your cost of acquirement for Georgiev or do Oilers look elsewhere?

Must've missed that line there. Maybe for a 1st & Koskinen w/ no retention? Kassian sucks and any time i see him in a trade, it's almost a guarantee the Rangers are losing it.

I could definitely work with that, I just assume the retention + Kassian works as I never stop hearing that "NYR and Pittsburgh are trying to get bigger, Kassian is a possibility"

Trust me, i'm just as tired of hearing that as you are. But

A. That's what free agency is for (Coleman, Goodrow, etc.)
B. The Rangers are actually a pretty big team. Of their regulars, only Panarin & Fox are sub-6ft (and of those 2, Fox is a Norris finalist this year, and Panarin was a Hart finalist last year). What they need is to get older
BrewishTV liked this.

Retention needs to be on Kassian not koskinen
