    Detroit declines.

There's a plethora of better LD available both in FA and on cap dump deals that brings assets in instead of out.

I dont understand why people are still doing these Eichel to NYR trades, theyre out of it.

This Eichel proposal is terrible, but I also don’t believe that the Rangers are completely out on Eichel either

Injury aside, it would be a huge financial mismanagement.

I agree, still doesn’t mean the Rangers are out tho. At this point literally every team is leaking to the media that they’re out to drive the price down

And rightfully so. What Buffalo is asking for a kid with a spinal/neck injury and an attitude is absurd. If Buffalo retains 2 million, then maybe they might get their price.

Again I agree. I’m just saying I don’t believe the Rangers who we know made an offer for Eichel last offseason are completely out when his value is at the lowest ever, even with the neck injury

Is it the lowest ever? Still seems like Buffalo isnt coming off their asking price.

Which is why almost ever team is leaking that they’re out. Buffalo has no leverage and whatever the final package for him is I expect Buffalo fans to be disappointed.

Theyll be massively disappointed. I expect a decent top 6 forward, a high-end prospect and a 1st to be where it settles.

I agree, which would be like Strome Kravtsov and our 2021 1st for the Rangers. I understand not wanting him because of the cap implications but I think NYR would at the very least offer that and see if Buffalo bites
