Nothing confirmed that they are actively shopping him or talking about trading him. Or that N.Patrick wants out or asked to be traded.

Yea fair but also compared to the NBA or other leagues we hardly hear players formally come out to the public asking for a trade. It's far more rare than in the NHL compared to the other big leagues. Like Jack Eichel hasn't formally came out and request a trade as yet but we all know he wants out.

Again not defending the move just saying my personal observations from watching the NHL for 15+ yrs and reading articles like these for similar amount of time.

Where and when did it ever say that?? It came from an “idea” a Calgary beat-writer had. Saying that Calgary should really think about/consider trading him.

And every teams click bait writers wrote an article, saying their team should go after Tkachuk if he’s available. Referencing that article.

No quotes from the organization or from that player or any player or that players representation. No inside source reference. No reference to an NHL insiders article. Just one writers “idea”. Nothing more.
