That defense in no where near elite...in fact I might call that a horrendous top 6 other then Franson and Tyutin(Murray has too many injury problems). Also, I would think about putting Hartnell in the top 6 before letting Clarkson sniff top 6 minutes.

Savard is a number 4 D on most teams. Holzer is not an NHL player.

As a Leaf watcher, Franson is no better than average, and Smitty wants to sign him for 5.4m a year?
