You forgot rask, Bogosian isn’t necessary, and trust me, you don’t want OEL.

Arizona is not going to retain that much money for 6 years to get very little in value.

Completely unnecessary to sign Bogosian.

Resign Rask instead of Raanta.

I think Coleman will be looking to cash in after winning 2 cups.

These guys are not going to sign team friendly deals for 4 years. maybe 1 or 2 (coleman/saad)

Seeing as how we’ve lost defensemen to injury for the last 3 years in the playoffs I’d hope they’ve learned by now you can never have too many (keyword) ~reliable~ defensemen. Bogosian may not look necessary at face value but who else will it be? Clifton? Kevan Miller ? John moore? Rather have the depth from the beginning and not have to trade assets for it at the deadline. And as for rask you realize he is going to be out for at least half the season right?

I can agree with Coleman, but not Saad. Value has dropped considerably in the last couple years and he’s no longer worth 6 million a year. 5.5 at most maybe but even that is a stretch.

As for rask he is going to be out for half the season and I doubt they have the confidence to go with a tandem of swayman and vladar for that long.

Clifton, miller, then some of the younger guys.

As for rask. Yes. I realize that. So what?

So why sign him now? Wait until after he has the surgery and he’s sure he wants to come back and you’re sure that he can come back. And going with the young guys is exactly what they did this year and how did that work out? I don’t understand the opposition to signing a guy like bogosian who can only help.

I don’t have an opposition to signing a d man. I have an opposition to signing that d man. He should be the 5th option on the right side.
