Hughes, Carlson, and krug don’t belong near that lineup. Fox definitely does. Chychrun plays for canada.

Had missed that note on Chychrun. All three definitely belong on that roster. Hughes more to get experience than anything, and Carlson as the lone carryover from 2014 (no NHL players in 2018). Krug is definitely one of the better left-handed options for the US, but could put McDonagh or Slavin there but not too many that are better ATM.

Hughes stinks. Carlson is a shell of his former self. Krug did not look good this year. On his worst day, Slavin is better than all three at their absolute best.

I don’t even think Quinn Hughes would get a five minute conversation from the hockey ops about consideration.
