Isles won't do it. I'm interested in Ritchie, but for like a 4th at most.

I feel like they would they need a young winger that they can improve internally with martin and a 3rd if fair value for a guy on pace for 40 points 22 goals and is 25 years old

I think you're overvaluing Ritchie. Ya he was on pace for 22G/40Pts, but he fell off as the season went on and once he wasn't on PP1 anymore he was quiet offensively. This was arguably Ritchie's best year of his career. Prior to this year his per game rates put him at 12G/30P, which is probably more realistic of the player he is.

Hall will cost >$5M per. Coleman will cost >$3.5M per. The Tarasenko trade is not terrible but don't see the Blues eating $3.5M of his salary per.

hall publically stated it was not ab money and he cared more about the fit in boston colemane sure we could sign him for atmost 4 mil and the taresnako trade benifits both sides pretty well

Martin is too important to the Isles room. Can't see this happening. Even if Cizikas went elsewhere in FA and the fourth line was no more I still think Martin is here to stay

If I was NYI, I'd rather have Martin and the 3rd over Ritchie.

The Blues have already stated that they are trying to win now with O'Reilly/others still in their prime. When/if they trade Tarasenko, they are going to want to do something else with his cap hit. In your scenario as far as players that can help next year, they are basically paying the same cap hit for Debrusk that that they would be paying for Tarasenko. Could be wrong, but don't see them being interested in that.

they can flip the prospects and the picks if they want to contend but bostons return is to much to deny imo

I don't hate the trade from a blues perspective but Armstrong isn't eating 3.5 million in salary for two years

I believe Blues would say no. It's close though. GM philosophy is not to have dead money/eat contracts that are not playing for them whether right or wrong.
