Description

This team is my attempt to allow GM Adams the ability to clean house of the players that no longer 'feel it'.

My goal is to bring in prospects and draft picks for the likes of Eichel, Samson, Risto and whomever else is not really feeling it in Buffalo. We are a dumpster fire of a franchise and have been for way too long so to reverse this you have to start fresh.

I am thinking that Samson is a key cog to Adams rebuild so GM Adams will deal Eichel and Risto but actually sign Samson to a long term deal. Samson is a true gamer never misses a game.... produces and has a Hockey IQ off the charts. By GM Adams showing Samson the love and making him the Captain of this team.

It's going to be a really hard sell for Grubauer. Why leave a cup contending team in COL for a team that few will want to go to? Any key players will have to be aquired via trade.

A very valid point.... do I expect to be able to land Grubauer probably not but if the Sabres would I think it would take $5,000,000 plus a 3-5 year term. I am not actually concerned with the goalie position as there are always UFA to fill the position. I think if GM Adams offered 3 years at $4,000,000 to Linus U he would be back in a Sabres Uniform.

As a fellow Sabres fan, I also hope they keep Reinhart. Now that we know he can play center and Granato would leave them there, building around him as a short-term 1C and long-term 2C would be awesome. Would love for him to be captain as well.

The Ducks trade seems pretty balanced and getting Foligno would be a nice addition for leadership and a middle-six role.
