They should, however he was the odd man out for a hand-full of games.
There is room to go up with cap remaining and having not bought-out Neal

Koskinen's buyout is $1.5m over 2. Why wouldn't they just buy him out, if they're retaining that amount?

I'm actually glad you noticed that, my rationale was pay $1.5M now, as RS, + whatever salary you bring back or $3M over 2 years as a buyout.
My logic is pay it now so its not on next seasons cap plus you may add a useful piece in Eakin.

The simplest thing is definitely to buyout Koski however my preference is to not defer money into future seasons, hence why Neal was buried rather than bought-out.
