interesting take...so Ekholm being on the top pairing and having a mobile Dman like Schmidt over Schultz doesn't improve the defense?

common sense tells you that they improved on the backend a lot

Eller could become a serviceable 2c if they surround him with talented players. Mid year Bemström replaces Lappy on the Capitals depth chart
