How does Monahan to NJ make any sense? NJ already has Hischier, Hughes and Zacha down the middle. And i doubt Monahan would even waive for NJ anyways.

Monahan can play the wings look at these lines Zacha - Hischier - Zacha u can replace dacha with Hughes
backhand can be 3 or 4 centre to replace zajac a better vision of him

He played center when Nico was hurt. When everyone was healthy, Zacha was wing and was over a point per game (17 points 16 games)

It still really doesn't make sense. Monahan would be 3C and Backlund would be 4C.

Monahan doesn’t play wing. He has over 600 NHL games and I can confidently say he hasnt played more than 10 games at wing.
