Keeping Subban for the rest of his contract is a good idea, if he is given the top offensive D-line + top PP line time he will be a #1 defensemen for the devils and even re-signing him after his current contract(for less money obviously) would be a good idea as they would keep a Top D Offensive D-man, a good leader, and a good person for the franchise. IF he retires in New Jersey it could be really good for the Franchise.
