NSH will be looking for a top forward prospect
Potentially a D prospect *if they have size and defensive ability

but definitely not a goalie prospect

I think Nashville says no. Return would be more like Samberg plus a first, likely with zero retained salary.

Little has a 0.00000000001% chance of ever playing in the NHL again, just hope he can live a wonderful life away from the rink.

I’m curious to learn why the Jets would give up a second round pick to lose Demelo. If he’s exposed, there is a decent chance he’s taken, or else Appleton is selected and the Jets only lose one asset instead of 2.

I also don’t think Stanley would be good on his off hand. Very few D excel on their off hand, and Stanley still has lots of developing to do on his left side.

No on both. Winnipeg says no to giving Demelo to Seattle and Nashville says no to the Ekholm trade.
