Krecji leaves

Description
If Krejci leaves for the Czech league, your middle 6 gets thrown into chaos. Studnicka is a possibility and maybe with a shot to finally be in the spotlight, he lives up to the hype. Coyle may play well given the chance to have Hall and Smith on his wings. But why not have a few other options through trade and free agency. If they go this route, I predict a 3rd place or wild card finish while they shuffle the lineup on the bottom 9.
As for the defense, is Hagg someone who could fill a top 4 roll? Just an idea I haven't really fleshed out.

Dubnyk and Hagg, this isn't the AHL team.

Who's your free agent vet goaltender that'll play backup for 4 months until Rask gets back and then get waived or sent down to the AHL then? I don't see the Bruins playing with 3 goalies for the 2nd year in a row.

Someone else who vastly over values Garland, and I'm not so sure about Philly. Voracek is probably gone, so they're gonna need some L shot forwards

Well, he'll probably be the starter or a 1A getting 60% of the starts so I won't waive him when Rask is back. There is probably zero (good) goalie that will accept to come here if that's the way you present it. Once three goalies are available, we'll see what we do but the signed goalie would play (if I was coach).

The point is Dubnyk has been one of the worst goalies in the league for the past years. Run with Swayman-Vladar in this case, you save $ and who knows what you can get (unlike Dubnyk who is an AHL goalie).

I see where you're coming from, I just think the risk of going up to 40 games with a questionable 1-2 won't cut it in the normal divisions next season. Though if the money they save on a backup cam be put towards a true #1 defensive defenseman, I would be fine with Sway and Vlad

A 4th line winger, a 7th D, and a 2nd does not get you a 40 points in 49 games winger.
