smith is not a good center and if Krecji leaves (which is unlikely) then boston is getting another center and certaintly not getting rid of coyle. Reilly is not returning and even if he was that contract is double his value. Chara is also not coming back and if he would he would be getting league min. Ritchie is severly overpaid and that foward core gets worse same with the defense. Swayman will also be the starter next year with a backup from FA. This is not happening in a million years as boston is not about to get worse this season with 30 million in space.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Rumors are they want him to get a full workload in the AHL next year. Vladar also requires waivers and they probably lose him if they try and send him down. I wouldn't be shocked to see a veteran as the #1 and Vladar as the #2 with a 60/40 split in starts until Rask returns.

No way that is enough for Rakell. Need a 1st going back and even a prospect. DeBrusk has only hurt his value when he disappears every post season

If Swayman is your #1 then you can't go out and get a Vet for #2 because you'd need to waive Vladar to get him to the AHL and he'd more than likely be grabbed

One has been one has been on one of the worst teams in the league for the last 3 years and the other has been on a cup contender for the last 3 years....
