If you acquire Andrew Shaw we won’t be able to get cap space during the season as we would be over the cap. It smarter to just bury Engvall contract, and maybe not sign Bunting and play Simmonds

Amirov+Dermott+Toronto's 2022 1st round pick for a extended Tyler Bertuzzi. Yzerman feels we should start to get competitive in 2-3 years and Amirov should fit that window.

I've got news for you, If Amirov, Robertson and Sandin are off the table. Toronto doesn't have the necessary pieces to get Tyler Bertuzzi. Dermott at best only returns a late 3rd round pick and your 1st rounders are in the low to mid 20 range so very little value you don't have any wingers we're interested in other then Nylander and he's off the table right now. So Detroit and Toronto don't make good trading partners for Tyler Bertuzzi,

leafs arent dealing amirov on top of a 1st for a 26 year old with a career high 48 points who just came off a serious injury, makes no sense. youre overvaluing bertuzzi

Detroit does not have to trade Bertuzzi.

Bertuzzi have not asked for a trade.

Detroit have not put Bertuzzi on the block.

This is you trying to trade for a player Detroit doesn't want to lose.
