The issue is Zuccs NMC. Otherwise I actually don’t mind this package, and appreciate it being a bit different than most.

Yeah it’s a full NMC for next year and then drops to a 10 team modified for the last 2 years. IMO, I do think the Wild would be happy to move him though. I just don’t think it’s possible until next year.

I think any kind of cap dump BUF takes is a flippable asset, Zucc certainly has value to a contending team in that regard.

I'm pretty sure that Buffalo is taking a look at the package they can get for Eichel and thinking to themselves how they can take those assets, and flip them for even more/better assets as part of another team's cap dump. Zucc is more useful to Minnesota (contending now) than he is to Buffalo on a flip. He turns 34 before the season, and has 3 years left at $6M a year. That's a hard age/contract to flip for Buffalo as he isn't a rental player.
