I mean, it's not a terrible deal for Canes but feel like they could get a better improvement to their top 9 via FA.

Yes, very aware of that. In terms of value is what I meant although I'd probably change that 2 to a 3/4 for whatever team is making the deal.

That's fair, although what he is worth will change based on the team he goes too and moving cap space isn't going to be very easy right now, even if it is for a good player.
