If the Jets trade Copp, it will likely be for a roster player or players they need.

wouldn’t the reason they trade Copp be that they don’t want to lose anyone in the ED

They don't have a choice. They have to lose someone at the expansion draft, but it won't be Copp.

Unless there is something going on behind the scenes that we don't know about, Copp will be protected.

If they get Copp then they would protect 7F for sure.

I agree Copp would be protected but it’s possible WPG traded for assets to avoid losing a guy

True. That's why I said in my first post that if they trade Copp it will be for roster player(s) they need, not for futures and/or players that don't help them now, like you offered.
