Description

As new GM Chris Drury discussed he plans on reinventing the team's bottom 6. I start this by killing two birds with one stone. Signing Casey Cizikas to immediately improve the fourth line and penalty kill, while significantly weakening a division rival. The signing of tough guy Martinook and Goodrow, who's presence on the heavily talented, run and gun Lightning team was vital in helping them win two straight Stanley Cups will both vastly improve the penalty kill. At the same time, the Rangers will be all in, and with the abundance of talent they have at wing (Panarin, Kakko, Lafreniere, Kravstov, and Kreider) makes for the need another top center. As good as Ryan Strome has been, he still does not have the ability that a healthy Jack Eichel possesses. Brining back Brendan Smith for defensive depth and locker room leadership will also help the young and inexperienced Rangers team.

I know you said unrealistic, but Casey Cizikas to NYR is literally impossible

I would think a better prospect than Zac Jones would have to be included.
The Rangers could also send DeAngelo as a cap dump and maybe Buffalo could reclaim him.
Let's presume the Sabres trade away Reinhart and Ristolainen as well, this could be an interesting team:
