Pretty sure trading a player back to the team you just acquired them from is not allowed, have to wait a full calendar year or something.

Not sure if that's the case totally, but it is totally the case when salary is retained like this one.

The Cba has a provision in it where a player traded can be traded back at any time, but if salary is retained it takes on calendar year to trade back.
