This is a fun fact, courtesy of the Daily Faceoff Podcast.

The last notable American UFA to sign with a Canadian team was Ron Hainsey twice, once with Ottawa and once with Toronto.

    I think Coleman stays Stateside

I'd like to dream a little, but if not Coleman, might resign Armia for a little less (3x3)

    Yeah for sure.

It's kinda a crazy thing though.

There have been some Americans to sign in Canada like Nate Thompson and Trevor Lewis, but Hainsey is the most notable American to do-so, dating back to 2016 I believe they said on the Podcast.
