Danault not getting anything over 5,25 from Montreal, he'll permanently be the 3rd line c in 1 year, if not this coming season sometime. Can't possibly pay him that much. Would rather offer Landeskog 6 years at 8/8.5 (yes, I know Landy isn't a c) but would be a much better use of that money.
