NIce!
but not sure if Van would pull the trigger for that low offer.
I would go for Strome: simply sign Wennberg for 2y/3M.
Edmonton doesn't need Byron and they will go after bigger fish with the $$$ they have named: Hoffman, Hyman... maybe taking a chance on Drouin

Eichel is going to cost MtL Suzuki, which I don't think they will do. I don't see MtL being willing to part with the pieces to outbid other teams for Jack.

Agreed... many people on here are suggesting an Eichel to Montreal deal yet no one includes Suzuki in the deal. If I'm the Sabres and I'm even considering trading Eichel to division rival Montreal, talks only start if Suzuki is part of the deal.

Question...your lineup has the Habs right up against the cap which isn't moving for at least a couple of years. In your scenario, at the end of the upcoming season, the Habs would have to find cap room to sign Suzuki and Romanov to bridge contracts, re-sign Strome your new 2nd line centre, re-sign two of your regular d-men, Chiarot and Kulak (...who would not re-sign for less than they are making now, especially Chiarot) and re-sign Kuemper because you traded away Primeau for him. The team you put together looks nice on paper but your plan past next year is a bit of a mess! smile

Easy no for VAN. They are not moving Miller especially for that return.
