Description
1st Trade is really the expansion draft. Perhaps it would take a prospect too for them to take Lucic. 2nd trade might require a 1st next year as well, but Reinhart hasnt had a great year anyways, and they get a top Prospect in Zary. There is still some cap room for if he would sign at 8MM or above.

    I think it is time to move on from Giordano TBH. We have gotten no where with him as captain

    I don't think Backlund approves of going to Buffalo (he has a 10 team trade list). I don't think Buffalo jumps at that offer if he does agree to go there. If Vancouver is offering the 9th pick overall, I think the 12th and Zary would put Calgary in the lead.

    Also not sure why you are giving a player with 5 career NHL games in Chase De Leo a $1.1 million contract. He probably could be had for $800k to 850k. Michael Bunting will be going for more than $975k per season. I'm thinking there will be at least one team out there that will offer him $2 million per for 4 or 5 years. Edmonton or Seattle maybe? Armia should be going at $3.5 to 4 million per season as well. I'm not saying Bunting or Armia are worth it, just what a team or two may pay for them.

    I don't think that's on GIO. This team needed a power forward RW that could fight and snipe. Basically, Jerome Iginla 2.0
