Avs Deadline Moves

Description
What if....

Both Car/Bos would probably want more in exchange. Would need to bite bullet on Mitchell/Tyutin. Would use #1 pick on Nolan Patrick, then would draft Cal Foote with Carolina pick, and play Bostons pick on a RW. Then would use excess cash for a vet to play bottom six minutes and maybe Shattenkirk. For most part would hold on to money until I have to pay the kids for new contracts. If done right CO could be a contender in 2 years.

Carolina Deal: Aho and Hanifin have been said to be off of the table even for Duchene

Boston: Whilst Barrie and Landy carry good value, I find it hard to believe Boston would part with Carlo AND McAvoy

EDM: This deal will honestly happen. I give it a 90% chance this happens

The returns are completely unrealistic.

If just for Duchene, you are completely right, but I add in Grigorenko who has proven success in league at 21.

Realistically don't think either are too far off.

[Edit] - could probably take #1 pick off table for Boston.

I think Don Sweeny would hang up on that offer. Carlo and McAvoy themselves have been listed as "untouchable" (yes, unfortunately Carlo's name has been brought up again recently). So for both of them, as well as Donato, who is having a solid year in college and could prove to be a good scoring winger, the Bruins would need more than a LW who looks to be on the decline (obviously he could just be having a bad year) and a d-man we already have in Krug.

I don't see the Bruins offering anything other than Zboril, DeBrusk and picks for Landy, and I don't see them being interested in Barrie so long as they have Krug.
