Pittsburgh is 4th in the standings, why would they sell especially when they are not getting rid of Fleury. It messes with Chem as well.

This is the opposite of what Rutherford would ever do. He's very keen on keeping his team intact and none of these deals attack an inherent weakness of the team. pointless.

Stanley Cup or no Cup this year, a Malkin trade needs to be discussed. The nearly 10 mill a year can build you one heck of a 2-3 line and will get you nearly, if not more, points. Carolina needs a "Superstar" and they have the cap/picks/prospects to pay for him.
