The salary after Fiala signing would mostly balance the cap hits, while accomplishing the goals of both teams. Guerin wants a 1C, the Sabres want post draft youth to fit in with the rest of their young 20's core.

I'm ok with it, if Buffalo is. BG is probably trying to offload Rask if he can, especially if he plans to sign Nick Foligno - and Beckman is a decent middle-six winger prospect that could spice it up so that Buffalo actually is ok with taking Rask.

Wild say no, that is 3 players that would be taken from their roster in the 22-23 season and beyond for a $10M center.

I say yes to that trade, but the Wild need a first line center in Jack Eichel.
