As a Flyers fan, I actually love this. It is something that could really happen, while all the trades are good. Love it!

Not sure if that’s enough for Seattle to basically take 1/4 of their cap

How so? SEA is getting a very productive RWer, likely their top line RWer and the 13th OA pick plus another pick. This makes them good now and lets them build a prospect pool.

Because they would be paying Voracek 12 million the next two years (retaining Tarasenko's contract) then be stuck with him for a 3rd year and 8.25

Just keep Tarasenko, who is much better than Voracek, and if it isnt working out, trade Tarasenko to a team, and land their 1st and a prospect or two.

This trade wasnt created in reality.

          1. I didn't retain on Tarasenko.
          2. Tarasenko may have been better than Voracek a few years ago but you see Jake has actually played the last couple years and put up good numbers. Tarasenko has had 3 shoulder surgeries.
          3. They are literally getting a top 15 1st as well as another pick (prospect) which is very close to what you are saying.

Maybe you should think more critically when criticizing things.

sorry, retention on Bishop, point remains the same just change Tarasenko's name to Bishop. It actually makes the trade worse, since you are getting Bishop in the trade too. Maybe you shouldnt make such horrible trades and people wouldnt criticize.

No the point doesn't remain as I ripped apart your terrible argument...Tarasenko is better than Voracek LMFAO!
