Description

Canes are in win now mode and while I do believe there top 6 is set I do believe getting someone who can put up points in the bottom six is a necessity so that is why I have them signing Tatar. They finally get rid of Gardiner's terrible contract and sign a much better version of him in Martinez. Having a 1A/1B goalie last year is what made Carolina so good, so getting Ulmark and having that 1A/1B tandem again is key. This is what I believe is best for the hurricanes to succeed and win that cup.

Agree with the sentiment but Ullmark likely gets much more than that in FA.

Also the top 6 needs one more piece still. Nino isn’t consistent enough so getting that piece via FA and sliding him to third line would be great but more realistically would need to move him for cap space and either package him for an upgrade, grab somebody like Saad in FA or use other assets in a separate trade to find somebody for that role.
