Description

Don't pay attention to cap or the size of the roster, I'm just showing people what this team could look like within the next 1-3 years.

Trade happens in the offseason IF and only IF the Sabres have a top 3 pick.

If the Sabres get Nolan Patrick and trade O'Reilly for the below package all of our core players would be hitting their prime pretty much all at the same time. Core players that would be 23 and under:

Sabres take Desharnais as a cap dump, Shaw as a good grit depth player, McCarron for more prospect depth, McNiven for more goaltending depth, I've been told that he is pretty good and will be NHL ready in 2-3 years, and Sergachev because the Sabres need a skilled young potential top defenseman.

I think the value is fair, but I don't think the cap works, plus Plekanec needs to be traded if they acquire a guy like ROR.

nay nay nay, having Shaw and Desharnais would be useless. Although sergachev would be nice, wont be good in the NHL for 2 or 3 years, we cant wait that long. need an NHL established young defenseman now probably someone from Anaheim or something

Doesn't makes sense, I don't think Bergevin wants to trade Sergachev and Desharnais is worthless.

This has gotten even more unrealistic than before. Still not worth giving up ROR for a prospect dman that wont help us now (and that GMTM passed on on draft day)
