Description
Is buch on the move? Would they be interested in futures? Am I too low on the contract?

Dermott Sandin and liljegren rotate. This would certainly mean the end of Rielly in Toronto. Which I really don’t like. But Buch would be a great fit in the top 6. Can’t see it happening but it would be fun.

If those are two eh prospects then Buch is a bottom 6 winger. Since when have leafs 1sts ever been late… lol.

If it is a 6 plus deal it wouldn’t work for the leafs. That seems fair for him. I was going off Ranger agm’s.

Definitely not "trash". Amirov + 1st is a decent return but the only issue here is the Rangers aren't looking to add futures and especially in positions they are rich in. I feel they are more inclined to move Buchnevich for a 2C or an upgrade in his position (unnecessary).

As for Toronto, They really only have Matthews, Nylander, and maybe Marner as potential interests. I love your boy Amirov but he projects to be a LW. Lafreniere, Panarin, Kreider, and now Goodrow sort of clog that position and for a longggg time.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Changed the trade around a few times but Rangers are a deep team on the ice and in prospects. My only thought was flipping the pieces in a trade for Eichel.

I think abruzeese they would keep. Local kid, centre that is projecting very well. Amirov and the first would go to Buffalo (with the rest of the Rangers package) Think that fits their needs better than Buch.

Obviously this would never happen but Buch is the type of player Toronto should be looking for. Even if it is a slightly less productive player.

I could see a potential three-way for sure. Buffalo might want Amirov + 1st over Buchnevich so I could see why that works for all sides.

Simply can't generalize an entire fanbase. Especially one with a market as big as ours.

I’m shocked when Leaf fans toss away so many picks and prospects for Garland, Dvorak, and now Buchnevich. That bottom sick is terrible. The Leafs are in this position, lack of depth, because of terrible drafting on 2016/2017. We finally have a respectable farm and guys wanna give that away.

I like the idea of trying to get Vanecek, now that the Leafs are going to lose a good FWD. But the costs to get Buchnevich, his AAV, and a brutal bottom six, doesn’t make sense

Are you are more in favour of throwing everything away for middling players. Also read the description,

This bottom 6 is absolutely fine. The only player I would worry about is Robertson but Anderson could replace him.

Dude, come on. You are getting no scoring from that bottom six. I will agree with you Robertson being a question mark. IMO he needs to start in the AHL next season, call up around all star break if he deserves it

Engvall and Mikheyev both had great seasons. Didn’t show up on the scoresheet but I think they are due. Hopefully Simmonds stays healthy and Brooks and Spezza were great together. No issues there.

This isn’t going to happen, said it right in the description.

Realistically that bottom 6 will have at least one new player. I hope that they move kerfoot up to top 6 wing. That does leave us one top 6 winger short though. Buch is just overkill but he would be awesome.

I definitely have more faith in Mikheyev regaining his scoring touch from his first year. IMO his wrist injury and the fact that he plays with a gigantic stick, gotta switch to a smaller one, will improve. Engvall is a useful PK and 4th line guy, good speed, but no offence to speak of.

They better add to the bottom six.

Agree, if Kerfoot is not dealt, he needs to play in the top 6, with Nylander and JT to be the most effective

Only nylander is better than Engvall at skating through the neutral zone with the puck. We have to put that to better use. He was off and on a bit last year though.

Kerfoot should be with nylander… and Matthews. Put Mitch back with JT and get them a decent winger.

That will never happen, JT Marner, Willy Matthews. But I would support that wholeheartedly.
